Please help me, I don’t know what to do. I can’t tell my parents, they’ll think I’ve gotten into all sorts of trouble on the Internet and I don’t know what they’ll think of me then. They’d take the computer out of my room.

Its a long time I have write to you.Its a long story .My Mother have ordered some goods from China and due to the Global meltdown she could not raised money for the declaration of the goods .She have tried hard to get loans form bkans ,but to no avail.I’m also be admitted to the Computery School,but due to this she could not send me.
I am very sure that guess that ,you will be able to the the fund for her to clear the goods and refund your money for you after all .
Its not only a matter of her suffering for my school need too.I beg you In the name of Jesus please .The money needed is $700 for that and I hope you will do that please.

By this stage I am REALLY scared. I can’t just ignore the emails anymore, this is getting out of hand. Besides, my family can’t afford to send $5000 plus $700 to send to a total stranger.

Then on the 12th October he sent another email wanting $5000 for a Taxi service. On the 15th he sent YET ANOTHER email literally BEGGING for the money (the whole message was upper-case), saying how he knows I’ll send the money. He wasd desperate.

It started when I joined E-Pal about a year or more ago, which is where you make pen pals and keep in touch through emails. Anyway I met one 17/18 year-old guy from Ghana. He seemed ok, but kind of conservative. After the first few emails he asked to keep in touch through snail mail and gave me his address, but I didn’t want to do it for security reasons. I can’t remember why, but we stopped emailing, I think I just got too lazy and didn’t reply.

About a year later (a few weeks ago) he sent me an email on the 3rd of October wanting $700 for Computery School which he couldn’t afford.

    There is a way to block him and I’d do it. If he keeps e-mailing you change your e-mail address.

    My best advice is to delete your email account and make a new one :)
    its for your own safety and he will no longer will be ablle to contact you ever :)

    Just ignore these letters. You have no obligation to do anything about them and DO NOT reply to him.Mark his mail for the spam file and do not open.He will stop when you ignore him. There is no need to tell your parents about this.

    Don’t send any money. It’s a scammer and an embarassment to my country, since all people know about Ghana these days are internet scams.
    In Hotmail next time he sends an email don’t open it. Click on the box next to it then click on the Mark As tab at the top then Phishing Scam. This will prevent future messages from reaching you.

    Also in your Inbox on the right click on Options, then More Options, then under Junk email click on Safe and Blocked Senders, then Blocked Senders, then enter his email address then click Add to List. Anything from him will be deleted
