business management. my boyfriend is doing a business management course and he basically does a bit of everything. once you get your degree if you wished you could go on to do a specialist course such as accounting or marketing and it looks much more impressive as you have the knowledge in other areas of business too.

Young and attractive people should try marketing, to meet more people. You might be involved in events management, promotions, budgeting and planning work for clients, you need to be confident in sales and you need to have some track record behind you to find meaningful employment after graduation.
If you are happy with analysing numbers, doing bookkeeping and filing, data entry, tax computations and audit work, then accounting is suitable for you, getting internship and part-time work in accounting before you graduate will help you get accounting job after graduation. In accounting, you must study very hard and continuous education is essential for career success. If you are attractive you might find accounting work a bit boring, the good thing is age is not an issue with accounting, they don’t need attractive people behind the desk, just someone who is an expert with the accounting rules, company and tax laws and someone who can present well.
I don’t recommend management, unless you are in management jobs already.
In marketing, accounting or management, long working hours is common, the job can be physically taxing and sometimes not well paid. You will have children someday, you might have difficulty managing unless childcare service are readily available. You cannot quit for a couple of years and hope to get into the same line again, the business environment and accounting rules changes rapidly, and employers will find your previous experience and education obsolete in a few years time.
