    Yeah, I don’t see why… the eight cores could do better with liquid than a hundred fans that sound 500x as much and cool a little.. less.

    My dad’s got 4x Intel Xeon e5440, that’s 32 cores. With 48GB RAM to that. Used for finding ways to cure cancer and other sicknesses.

    Well, you still need a graphics card on top of that (Actually the GPU is underneath the CPU… but you get my meaning =)

    That server sounds like a jet plane. Add a cupple of weels and a seat then you can drive it to work.

    192 GB DDR3 SDRAM
    Dual 4.0GB NVIDIA Quadro FX 5800
    24 Samsung SSDs (my IT guy put these in)16X DVD+/-RW AND 6X BLU-RAY DISC
    killer xeno pro (I know its mostly for gaming but it really does optimizeinternet)creative sound blaster x-Fi titainium sound card (I use this for personal computing also)
    It is hooked up to two NEC 30 inch monitors
    total: 80,000 USD

    Would make a great gamer if you had a tremendous video card.
