Get out of business school and go to a liberal arts college and learn how to write. You need some higher math but you primarily need it for the logic – not the arithmetic. You must learn how to think, write and speak clearly and with exquisitely detailed reasoning. You would benefit from a major in American History, Government or Political Science, with possible minors in Psychology, Sociology or American Literature.

^^ Great response, but I am guessing you are stuck at the business school.

I recommend picking the easiest business-related field as possible so you can focus on developing your writing and critical thinking skills in other classes.

When the LSAT comes around, you’ll be thankful for it.

If you’re stuck in your business degree, it doesn’t really matter what stream you’re in. Finance is number crunching and analysis work. Between Accounting and Finance, I’d choose Accounting because there’s more case work where you’ll need to be able to articulate your decisions. But since you hate it, scratch that. You won’t get case studies until upper year in HR that might be a little too late to develop your writing skills since most people take the LSAT in their second year. OM is math basically. Entrepreneurship and IS has nothing to do with what you want to do.

I’d say just pick a stream and then take some your electives in either english, political science, or philosopy. For starters, I’d recommend an into critical thinking/logic course and a writer’s craft course.
